VFW 8098 Hospital Bed Fundraiser

What an amazing turnout last night for the VFW Post 8098 Auxiliary fundraising event for our local veterans at Meadowview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Thanks to an incredible community effort, the Auxiliary was able to purchase 10 new beds for the brave men and women who fought to defend our freedom and we are proud to be a part of that.

DJD is committed to giving back to the heroes in our community, and the firm is proud to support VFW Auxiliary Post 8098's fundraiser to fund the purchase of new hospital beds for the Veterans Unit at Meadowview Nursing Home and Rehab Center. “The brave men and women who have defended our freedom deserve care and comfort, at every stage of their lives,” said DJD partner Steve Johnson. “We’re happy to purchase a bed as well as contribute to the VFW’s fundraiser for this outstanding cause, and we hope all of our friends and clients join us.”
The VFW fundraiser will take place at 3029 Spruce Avenue in Egg Harbor Township on Wednesday, August 17, from 3 to 7 pm. Each $20 admission includes food, two drink tickets, networking, a chance to win door prizes, and access to silent auction prizes.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets or donating a basket call 609-641-7200. Baskets can also be dropped off at Visiting Angels, 3153 Fire Road, Suite B in EHT.
